Who can buy a Meal Plan?

Anyone! Live nearby? Commute? Choose the meal plan that suits you!

What Meal Plans do you offer?

We offer a variety of meal plans to meet your on campus dining needs. Check out our Meal Plan page for a full list of offerings.

Are Meal Plans required?

All residence students are required to purchase a meal plan for our Fresh Food Company, All-You-Care-To-Eat dining. Our residence Meal Plans include the Freedom Plan (unlimited entries plus Flex dollars), 19 Plan (19 entries per week plus Flex dollars), 14 Plan (14 entries per week plus Flex dollars) and the Flexi Plan option available to those in the Burton's Pond residences.

Off Campus students ALSO find value in a meal plan! Many students take advantage of the convenience and value a meal plan has to offer from the large plan to smaller plans as well -FLEXI Plan (100 entries), EASY Plan (75 entries) or the TASTER Plan (25 entries).

What type of Meal Plan do you recommend?

We have a variety of meal plans to meet your needs! Depending where you live, and how much you are on campus, our recommendations may vary. How can I purchase a Meal Plan?

To obtain a plan please visit our Food Services Office in Hatcher House, Basement, 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday or call (709) 864-8124 for details.

How do I get into the Dining Halls once I have purchased my Meal Plan?Within

Within 24 hours, your Student ID card will be activated with your meal plan. Present your card to the cashier in the dining hall, and you are all set!

Can I add more FLEX dollars to my card?

Absolutely! To obtain FLEX dollars please visit our Food Services Office in Hatcher House, Basement, 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday or call (709) 864-8124 for details.

FLEX dollars are accepted as payment at all our cafes on campus. The FLEX dollars are loaded right on your Student ID card, so there is no need to carry around cash or another card! There is no minimum balance, over draft fees, or hassles! 

Can I treat a friend to a meal?

Meal Can You can certainly invite your friends, guests and family to join you at the Fresh Food Company in Gushue Dining Hall. Our Meal Plans include FLEX dollars which can be used for payment to invite your gusts and we also accept cash, debit or credit cards!

Can I carry meals over to the next semester?

All meal plans expire at the end of the Academic year in April.

If I miss a meal, do I get a refund?

Your meal plan is designed to provide access to the Fresh Food Company so unfortunately in order to provide this great value to you (tax free by the way!) refunds cannot be issued. If you are going to miss a meal, check out our boxed meal/lunch program.

Why do I have to create an account in order to check out?

For you, and us, to be able to best track orders, and to be able to contact you in case of a question regarding your order we ask that you create a CampusDish account.

How do I create an account?

Click the "Login" button, and then on the login page click the "create a new account" link.

How do I find more about Nutritional Information?

Use our Comparison Box and Nutritional Calculator to get the most out of your eating decisions. Select products from the Menu section and use one of the options below to get accurate comparisons and information about your choices.
